Executive Director Raise More Stress Less Advisory
Raise more. Stress less. Lead fundraising with greater confidence.
Fundraising is part of an Executive Director’s job—but that doesn’t mean you were ever taught how to do it.
The Executive Director Fundraising Leadership Cohort is a six-month, small-group experience for nonprofit Executive Directors who want to become more confident and effective fundraising leaders.
Limited to four Executive Directors, the cohort combines practical guidance, peer problem-solving, real-world application, and accountability.
JOIN A DYNAMIC LEARNING COMMUNITY
Over six months, four Executive Directors meet every other week to work through real fundraising challenges, learn from one another, and make consistent progress.
Each session includes:
Practical fundraising guidance and tools
Real organizational challenges
Peer feedback and problem-solving
Clear action commitments
Accountability at the next meeting
The small-group format ensures everyone participates and receives meaningful attention.
PROVEN SUCCESS
The cohort is facilitated by C.F. Callihan, founder of Heart Strategy Impact, who brings more than 20 years of nonprofit fundraising experience and has helped organizations raise more than $25 million.
His approach is grounded in a simple belief: nonprofits can build stronger fundraising programs by investing in the relationships they already have rather than constantly chasing wealthy people who don’t know them.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Rather than following a rigid curriculum, the cohort responds to the real fundraising priorities participants bring to the table.
Participants will strengthen their ability to:
Lead fundraising as an organizational priority
Identify the best opportunities for growth
Strengthen individual donor relationships
Improve asking and stewardship
Engage board members in fundraising
Lead development staff more effectively
Prioritize limited fundraising resources
Turn fundraising goals into consistent action
Each participant will identify specific priorities at the beginning of the cohort and make measurable progress over six months.
AUDIENCE
Designed for nonprofit Executive Directors and CEOs with meaningful responsibility for fundraising.
Ideal participants:
Lead organizations where contributed revenue matters
Have responsibility for fundraising, donors, staff, or board engagement
Want to strengthen individual giving and unrestricted revenue
Are willing to discuss real challenges openly
Are prepared to take action between sessions
The group is intentionally limited to four participants to create a confidential, trusted environment.

The assessment isn't the finish line.
It's the starting point.
Some organizations leave with the clarity they need to implement the recommendations themselves.
Others continue into Individual Giving Support, where we work together to turn the roadmap into measurable fundraising results through ongoing strategy, accountability, and implementation support.
You don't need another fundraising idea.
You need clarity about which ideas are worth pursuing.
